Profile of the genomic characteristics and comparative studies of five Trichiuridae species by genome survey sequencing

Trichiuridae fish are economically important species and widely distributed across the nearshore to open ocean. In present study, genomic survey sequencing method was used analyze characteristics of five fish. The calculated genome size 913 Mb, 868 871 747 670 Mb for Trichiurus japonicus , nanhaiensis brevis Lepturacanthus savala Eupleurogrammus muticus respectively. average GC content ranged from 39.59% 42.05%, repeat sequence 33.21% 45.87%. heterozygous ratio E. highest, that L. smallest. proportion microsatellite motifs showed a decreasing trend with increase in numbers: dinucleotide repeats were dominant, followed by trinucleotide repeats, tetranucleotide pentanucleotide hexanucleotide repeats. mitochondrial genomes excavated data, ML tree revealed T. formed into one clade. earlier expansion than other four had significant population decline at Last Glacial period pairwise sequentially Markovian coalescent (PSMC) analysis.
